The new books will feature Blake’s trademark wit, verve and page-turning plotting with a fantastical sensibility. They will include an action-adventure title, a darkly romantic novella and two further standalone novels for readers who love mainstream fiction with a speculative edge.
Olivie Blake’s Atlas trilogy has been a runaway hit and she’s reached the Sunday Times bestseller list with six separate titles so far. Her most recent book was the extraordinary Girl Dinner, a wickedly smart novel set within US academia about power, lust and female rage. And Blake’s previous novels have been lauded by authors such as The Lamb’s Lucy Rose, Starling House’s Alix E. Harrow and Lady Macbeth’s Ava Reid.
Olivie Blake says: ‘I feel unbelievably lucky to continue working with my team at Tor UK, where I’ve been permitted to grow freely as a storyteller with the full support of the most talented, dynamic creatives in publishing, particularly my editor, Bella Pagan. I am proud to have a home at Tor, and I can’t wait to discover what new ground lies before us with these future titles.’
Bella Pagan, Tor Publisher, enthuses: ‘Each new Olivie title is an astonishing treat and I don’t know how she creates characters that make you fall in love with them again and again. Olivie also delights with her biting wit, social satire and the most gorgeous writing – where each sentence is a treat and each manuscript is a marvel.’
Tor UK will match Tor US dates in bringing even more of Blake’s incredible novels to readers in the UK and beyond.
